Don’t forget to contribute to our 2026 EM Day Video & Social Media / Send in your Video by 20th May 2026:

We are inviting Emergency Medicine professionals to submit a short video clip (5 – 30 seconds) for use in our Emergency Medicine Day film, as well as related social media content (including reels and reposting across official channels). By submitting your clip, you consent to it being used, edited, and shared for these purposes.
Please speak directly to camera in a single take (it can be a selfie if you don’t have anyone to record you) and choose one of the following themes:
Frontline role: „In emergencies, we are here to…” / „When people need help the most, we…”
Reality of risk: „Violence happens in hospitals too…” / „No one should face violence while trying to save lives…”
Impact: „This affects care everywhere because…”
Call for change: „Healthcare workers deserve safety everywhere…” / „Violence is never acceptable in any setting [hospital, crisis zone or in any other setting]…”
Closing message: „No excuse for violence.” / „Not in hospitals. Not anywhere.”
We especially encourage contributions from a diverse range of regions, settings, and experiences – including urban and rural hospitals, different healthcare systems, and both high-resource and resource-limited environments – so that the final film reflects the global reality of emergency care.
Contributions should reflect real experiences from emergency care settings and help highlight a shared global message: violence has no place in healthcare, anywhere – in hospitals, crisis/conflict zones or anywhere else.
Please send this video to: isupport@emergencymedicine-day.org or info@eusem.org & include your name / the subject line in your submission.
