Critical guidance for mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the safety and integrity of emergency departments around the globe
The IFEM Task Force on ED Crowding and Access Block has developed a critical guidance for mitigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the safety and integrity of emergency departments around the globe.
On 25 March 2020 we launched this critical guidance in a global webinar.
Download Global Response to COVID-19 for Emergency Healthcare Systems and Providers.
This critical guidance is also available in French, Spanish and Portuguese.
You can watch the recording of our first webinar here.
We are holding a second webinar at 1pm UTC Wednesday 8 April 2020
Topics covered will range from PPE preservation, ED design strategies, advocacy opportunities and caregiver well-being and psychological support.
This webinar will focus on mitigating the impact of COVID-19 in high and low and middle-income countries.
Please join Drs. Jim Ducharme, Eddy Lang, Katherine Henderson, Laurie Mazurik, Colin Graham, Saravana Kumar and Task Force Coordinator Arshia Javidan for an overview and discussion of this critical guidance.
